Otis lives on your Mac and runs your mail, meetings, docs and browser by voice. Want it to work differently? Say so, and Otis rewrites itself to fit you.
Meetings
Notes from every call, with no bot in the room
Otis listens to the call from your Mac: the call app's sound and your mic. It transcribes on your Mac as people talk, with names from your calendar. During the call it flags questions and facts worth checking. When the call ends you get a summary of decisions, open questions and next steps with owners and dates, plus a follow-up email drafted and waiting.

Dictate
Talk instead of type
Tap the mic and speak. Your words appear in the message box as you talk, and Otis keeps listening through pauses until you tap Send. On iPhone it uses the phone's own speech recognition, with punctuation, and you can start it from the lock screen, Control Center or Siri.

And the rest of your day
Each of these runs in Otis today.
The Queue
One list of everything that needs your tap: approvals, drafts, sign-ins and reviews. Otis checks each item first and closes what is already done.

Smart to-dos
Each morning your to-do list fills from your mail, calendar and meeting notes. When an item is done, Otis closes it and says why.
To-dos
Browser
Otis browses in its own tabs, signed in as you, while your tab stays in front. When a page needs you, it hands it over.
Browser
Sign-ins
Otis is not a password manager. It fills your sign-ins from the one you already use, after one Face ID or Touch ID tap, and never sees the password.

Docs
Write together with comments and tracked changes. Otis suggests edits you accept or reject, and Word files go in and out.

News briefing
At 6 a.m. Otis writes a briefing on the topics you set, with sources. It skips what you already read and reads it aloud.

Claude Code from your phone
See the Claude Code sessions on your Mac from your iPhone, with new replies marked. Open one to read its thread, then reply by voice or text, photos included. Your reply goes into the running session, or resumes it if none is running.

Learns you
It learns how you think and work
As it works, Otis notes the calls it made that you never ruled on. At 8 p.m. it asks a few as quick A-or-B picks, about two minutes. Your picks become rules that every chat and task follows. Otis tests a rule on past cases before it keeps it, and you can keep, change or drop any rule.
It also remembers. Each night Otis saves the day's decisions and preferences, and it searches that memory and past conversations before it says it does not know.

Should I draft it now, or ask you first?

Simple replies: draft now, and remind me in an hour if it is not sent.

Under the hood
An agent that ships its own code
Otis is a set of Claude agents on your Mac, wired into your voice, your files and your day.
Self-improving agent
Ask for a change and Otis writes the code on its own branch. A test gate runs before every merge, and a failed test blocks it. Every merged change has a one-tap Undo.
Agent fleet
Up to 16 background agents run at once: 12 for research and writing, 4 for code. Each code agent works in its own isolated git worktree, so changes never collide.
Two-speed brain
A fast voice model (Claude Sonnet) starts answering as it streams, with read-only access to your calendar, tasks, docs and memory. Anything that needs action goes to the full agent (Claude Opus on Claude Code).
On-device speech
Whisper runs locally on Apple silicon. Dictation turns into text in 0.34 seconds, and your audio never leaves your Mac.
Persistent memory
Each night Otis distils the day into dated facts and a summary. It searches that memory and past conversations before it answers.
Every surface
One agent, reached from the Mac app, iPhone, Siri, iMessage, earbuds, an e-ink tablet and smart glasses.
Four things always wait for your tap
Otis does most work on its own. It never sends, deletes, signs in or buys until you say so. Each one waits in the Queue with one clear button.
Waiting for you

Otis runs on your Mac, and its memory is plain files you can read. Sign-ins fill from your own password manager; Otis never sees a password.
Questions
What do I need?
A Mac that stays on and online, and an iPhone. Otis lives on the Mac, so think of it as a small home server for your agent. The iPhone, earbuds, Messages and an e-ink tablet are ways to reach it.
What leaves my Mac?
Otis keeps its memory, files and settings on your Mac. To think and speak, it sends your requests to the AI model it uses (Claude, from Anthropic). It does not sell or share your data.
Can it act without asking me?
It works on its own for most things: drafting, reading, researching, writing documents, building features. Sending, deleting, signing in and buying always wait for your tap.
How does it build its own features?
Each request becomes a background task on its own branch. Otis writes the change, runs the tests and merges it only when they pass. Every change has an Undo.
What will it cost?
We have not set a price. Early-access testers will hear first, before anything is charged.
